Faster Payments moves money between UK bank accounts in seconds, and it is the rail behind Open Banking payments. That is quicker than card settlement, which typically reaches your account the next business day and sometimes later over a weekend. With BriizPay the payment is confirmed to you as soon as your customer approves it, and the money usually arrives in your account within seconds.
Usually is the honest word. Faster Payments is near real time in normal conditions, but timing depends on the banks at both ends and is not guaranteed, so we recommend checking the money has landed in your bank app before handing anything over.
